Welcome to Westwood Nursery School! We are located in a beautiful wooded setting in Westwood Ma. Our classrooms have large floor to ceiling windows. Outdoors we have a big playground, a grassy hill and walking paths to explore. At Westwood Nursery School children learn through active exploration. Our curriculum provides a learning environment that engages children in the following areas; literacy, math, science, social skills, fine and gross motor skills,art,music and movement. All of our curriculum is based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks Standards. We have classes for children 2.9 – 6 years old. The Preschool program offers classes 2 and 3 days a week from 9-1. The Pre-Kindergarten program meets 4 days a week from 9-1. The average class size is 12 children with a outstanding teacher/student ratio of 1 to 6.
